PCTTracker - en español

Got all of the Lord of the Rings movies wish Spanish subtitles at PCTTracker. That's what I think, at least. Got to actually start the torrent to know. BTW, registered as kyouneko, as usual.

TorrentBox.com

Well, I got at TorrentBox.com the torrents for all three HP movies (third is still dlding), so I better keep it here, though it says that IsoHunt.com is a sister site, so maybe they share, but TB has more specific categories than IH, so, I'll just keep them both.

Cellphone madness!!!

Hehe, in two days I crashed my phone's credit for the month, I'll have to buy a card for it. BUT, who can blame me? Found quite a few places to dld wallpapers and games. Here are some that worked for me:
GetJar: wap.getjar.com
Fonditos: wap.fonditos.com.ar
Jhonny.wap: same (www.jhonny.org/wap)
You browse the site first, and code in hand you go to the wap site via phone and dld. Easy!
Now, here you can find games, and... euploader.com!! There you can upload via Internet whatever you want (ok, whatever your phone accepts), and then dld at euploader.com/wap/index.php. Coooool! Love it!
Three non-checked addies: www.zedge.no, wap.misms.com.ar, www.nkwap.com.

Categoría:GetBackers - CemZoo.com

GetBackers - CemZoo.com <-- I only wanted to find out whether Kazuki Fuchoin was a girl or a boy (turns out he's a girlish looking boy), and here I found a rather extensive list of charas. Might be some other series, but now I wanna find some Kazuki/Jubei Kakei fanfiction (hehe)

Edit: Found plenty of bios at Anime Adrenaline, too.

Um... again, in places I shouldn't be

Cori's J-POP Lyrics Homepage - found all the lyrics from one of Crystal Kay's albums, which I'm about to burn - though the one I wanted first still doesn't get it, and is stuck at 62%. Humpf!

::: Vk-Manga 6.2[anime, manga & games] :::

::: Vk-Manga 6.2[anime, manga & games] :::
I'm off to 'lunch', and when I'm back I'll register here (you know the roll) because, and cause it looks cool and interesting and they have direct downloads - Spanish and English versions -> was looking for covers for some osts, so as to burn them.

Sadomina's Secret Chamber - A Yaoi Site

From this place, Sadomina's Secret Chamber, I've downloaded several artbooks, but beside that, it's very interesting, full of info, and... Zettaireido! Raw, true, but still... Someday I'll lose the site, so here it is.

OMG!! ZOMG FRUIT TREE ALCHEMISTS!!!

Improbable as it seems, it doesn't look like I upped here where I got the last FMA chappies: ZOMG FRUIT TREE ALCHEMISTS!!! - ver. 1.5 "Let's Just Take a Random Color Scheme and See What Happen!". I even had to register! And the password was given as a puzzle!! And I don't remember the answer I reached then!! wahhhhhhhh!! *snicker* Good thing there's no new chap (in a manner of speaking, of course)

MY YAOI PARADISE

MY YAOI PARADISE - Very interesting site, provides not only reviews but also directions to download most of what is reviewed, by way of the original scanlator, o through megaupload links.

Ritz's HQ

Ritz's HQ - Ritz's SD site is not totally dead, since it's still archived here. Don't think she updates it any more, though. Pity!

while we tell of yuletide treasure
Strange fandoms' fics. Saved a few to read later, but since it is an ongoing experience, it could be interesting to keep checking from time to time.

Sitios de torrentes

I keep telling my sisteres that finding Argentinian torrents is next to impossible. Here's a list of sites, though, with some in Spanish (don't know how old it is). For anything anime/manga related I use, of course, Boxtorrents, for anything else I mainly use Isohunt, but then again, no local torrents. Sometimes a manga site redirects me to a specific tracker, but I don't keep track of them (hehe). Mininova is still arround, too. I'm about to register into a Spanish-speaking site, Portal Pirata (kyouneko, the usual drill) but I'm starting to think I've already registered somewhere else... I'll have to check some old mails.

Edit: Two other sites, similar to PP, you probably need to register to dl, not sure: PcTorrent - PctTracker. NOT worksafe, I tell you - heavy on the sex-side (which would be very interesting under different circumstances, mind you!)

Episode List - TV Shows

Minor mention: still looking for Smallville's epi guide found this place, EpisodeList, with many shows. Liked it better than the other two places, though TV.com looks better than The TV Megasite -remembering them here could come in handy sometime.
By the way, I don't think I'm too fond of this fandom. I've got a ton of fics to check, but still, not sure. I mean, like the series/idea of C/L/C slash, but not what I've found about it this far. I'll see.

Smallville

Hehe, I know I shouldn't be doing this, when has that stopped me before? I don't follow Smallville, but the few chapies I've watched make me wonder how are they gonna end it. I love Lex in this series, and he saved Clark more than once, so I don't get it. I decided to look into it a little today, but of course, the first thing I stumbled upon was fanfiction, of the slashy type, of course. I'm about to try this link, where I also found some Potterverse fiction (good name for it) Um, here's another one (mind you, i'm not checking the main sites, only this lists, at least for now)

Edit: Read some of the fics on the first page (Lex centric, mostly, rather meanie Clark, interesting), forgot to find anything else - shinny things, I tell you!

Anime y la TV

Güé, Animax has new series (FMPanic and Gantz, that I know for sure), so I had to re-check their schedule. It took a while to find their site again, and I'd forgoten the name/addie of the forum where I found all the info last time, AZA or AnimeZoneArg. Registered there now, as kyouneko (you know the drill by now), at least for the news. The site seems to provide good stuff - when it's fully up. But it's still recovering from some major crash or other. We'll see.

Edit: rummaging through some threads at AZA's forums, found some addies for game downloads, for future reference: RomReactor, ZonaEmu, Decemuladores, EmuDesc, EmuGamex. Might check them some time. (Once I manage to play the games I *already* have?)

I'll FANS' PAGE

Just one word, WOW. Mangascreener has only reached vol 7 out of 14, but I already got 1 to 13's original covers from this site, I'll FANS' PAGE, plus some amazing images. But, of course, probably the site is so good cause the manga's art is that good. May sound mean, but I hope this doesn't get licensed in English till I've got it all.

MangaCity - Peace Maker

Well, in the end I bought Peace Maker Kurogane #1, even though it's the sequel of another manga called Peace Maker. But, I found that they are scanlating it at MangaCity, and they already have almost 5 of 6 volumes done, so I'm about to download them, some from the site (DD or BT), some probably from their channel, #manga-city at IRCHighway. Wait! Paren las rotativas!! It is also at StopTazmo!! Wahhh!
Now, since PMK is only 5 vols long -this far at least-, I'm considering getting RK afterwards. Probably should get all FY first. Nywayz, we're talking four months at least, so anything can happen.
And, for the record, I *need* to order/shrink/burn my series, cause I want some new ones, like RK and FMA and... hehehe
BTW, I'm also downloading the _huge_ SD manga (hq, I've heard) through BT.

Wallpapers, Avatars, and Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Shhh! I just registered as kyouneko at AnimePaper (Anime Wallpaper Community) to get a gorgeous wallpaper of TRC (went for it instead of X, and it's already in the oven). I already had most of the chapitres (don't ask me about that), and found everything else plus titles et al at the scanlators site, Be With You Scans. They are doing X too, but only from vol 15 onwards. They've started from the beginning too, but only got vol 1 done. We'll see, I might buy that one.
It might be temp, but I like the concept of Mangavatares - no need to clarify.

Edit: Um, I also registered (kyouneko too) at RESERVoir CHRoNiCLE, to download some captures and such, but got no time.

Edit II: Alt dwld site, Revelations, for TRC manga (though I think BWY is still at it).

Noated :: Anime and Manga Community :: *and* DEATH NOTE

Ok, sidetracked again (and rewriting a post- again) Registered as kyouneko at Noated, anime/manga news, forums, BT db, Japanese Lessons (here to check for updates) and Lexicon. Can't remember why I know of the site from before, though.
Yesterday, I spent 7hs straight reading DN, so so so... waaah!!Managed to learn from one of the (several) scanlator's forums the chaps for the last vol, but not the missing titles. Will burn anyway! And remember to keep track of the updates from Stoptazmo.
I'll probably go for X now, provided I can use a Russian page I found to separate the chaps in each vol.

Manga Online

Got this addie from someone in one of my mailing lists. It's Tokyopop's Manga Online site. Registered with k_h Y!, monthly magazine online. Seems interesting enough. They have a free print edition too, but, of course, no shipping outside USA. Tipical. Hmpf. Ah, Tokyopop's addie from that one, too, for what it could be worth.

Boy's Love Games Headquarters

Boy's Love Games Headquarters
Interesting place for all BL games, with reviews and imgs, and a rather comprehensive list of links. Um, yes, looked for some stuff after dlding games from Aarinfantasy - even though I most certainly won't be able to install/play them for a long time (till I own a pc!!!).
I'll have to check their wallpapers later.
*And* I've got to check this place (in Japanese) where you can dld game intros, and Moon-Parrot's site (makers of Kuro no Tsuki), for the same (fourth menu option, I think)

Thursday 29 September 2005

On special download sites (BoxTorrents Rules!)

Well, of course, BoxTorrents covers many of your anime/manga/ost/ova BT necesities (especially of the yaoi kind). The rest, probably could be found at Isohunt.
Now, yesterday I registered in Aarinfatasy's Yaoi Collection, as kyouneko too. Will dl a couple of bl games first, then I'll see. Then, right from there I picked a link to a site that translates bl games, Onadoru Euphoria, and has completed Silver Chaos. Not a patch, but imgs with the translations. Better than guessing, of course!
Um, should probably mention that Aarinfantasy is a well known fansub group, too.

Edit: Better to simplify matters, Aarinfantasy's BT tracker is right here

Edit 2: I *cannot* believe I forgot all about StopTazmo.com, where I get many different series (non-yaoi) one chapter at the time. Registered as kyouneko, too.

Edit 3: Last minute news, found a place, The Lurker, with listings of irc bots offering packages of well known series (such as FMA/Bleach/Gantz, and a *lot* more) Will try soon, cause I also found my missing FMA chaps at irc.

Bleach-mania

Needing to burn all the stuff I've got at work, I started with the 'huge' series, Bleach first. Looking for some missing covers and such, I found some very interesting sites, even if the content is rather similar. First off, Bleach Portal - No Better Bleach Source Than This!. I got the chapter/volume relation there, as well as some cool info. Registered as kyouneko, against the k_h Y! account (just like in Boxtorrents), mainly to download ops/eds - that are temporarily down, *of course*.
Second, there is Bleach 7 - The first Source for Bleach Info.... Both sites are heavy on the multimedia downloads: anime, manga, music, images, you know, the works. Even fanfiction in the second. Might register too, once I burn some more stuff.
Last but not least, Too Schexay, twoPOINToh: Bleach images, music, and Renji, full of classified and commented images from the serie, plus some (or all of it?) music from the manga -take this, the author gave each chara a theme song!- as well as from the anime. Got to click on the word 'media', lower right corner.

Edit: For further reference, I don't remember where I downloaded the first chapters, but most of them come from StopTazmo.

For love is a many-splendored thing...

More HP fanfiction delicacies. This site is a rare jewel indeed. Harry Potter Rareslash, has some very odd parings, some unlikely main charas, and some good (if unusual) stories. Need to read more. Oh, and it's a rec from Maya's site.
There is also Harry Potter and the Age of Consent, where I arrived while looking for Lady of Shalott's site (didn't like it, that's why it's not here). Assortment of stories, a hole section for H/D (the most important, of course ^_^)
I know, I *know*, I'll never manage to go through all the recs I've already got, and lets not forget that I haven't checked my usual haunts for at least a couple months. I shudder at the thought of the sheer volume of piled reading. Yeah, right.

Sunday 18 September 2005

From Eroica With Love

It turns out I've never read this manga (most of my fandoms of choice are found and loved through fanfiction, actually, so this is not so strange for me anymore). Read a rec about it in Boys on boys on film, and Googled it (what else, really). Then I arrived at this wonderful wonderful site, Belladonna's From Eroica With Love site. Simply great. I have a zip of the full site somewhere, but since it's still not burned, I must keep the address at hand. Now, I like Kadorienne's stuff the most. About the charas, Dorian is my fave, of course. Just my type of criminal, one with style!

Friday 16 September 2005

PSA // truth < harry >

From a banner in the previous rec site, I arrived at the The Potter Slash Archive. Still on the works, I think (hope), and not that much to keep this far, but I've found some good stuff. Will keep reading, of course.

Draco/Harry Fanfic Recs

Draco/Harry Fanfic Recs
Well, I probably found this site through Google, but beats me what did I Google. Anyways, redirects to Fanfiction.net as well as Schnoogle.com, among other places, (like this one I didn't know and got to check out in more depth, www.skyehawke.com), and lead me to some very good fics even though I haven't read through half of it yet.
Important Note to self: go through the whole list and save the best ones before you forget because of some shinny thing or other.

Lasair and Maya's Fanfiction and Ramblings

How did I fall into HP ff? Easy enough, perusing Aoe's livejournal in search of news about her 'Harmonics' WK arc at Bleeding Hearts. No news, but a rec of Maya's wanderful 'Underwater Light', at, precisely, Schnoogle.com.
I read it and read it and read and loved it, and decided more HP was in order, preferently H/D. I even sent Maya a very embarrasing letter asking for recs from her, and she graciously complied sending me the address to her site, Lasair and Maya's Fanfiction and Ramblings, where there are more of her fics plus recs that I have yet to check, and her livejounal, still on my very extensive "to read" list. One more comment: I actually cried last night while reading her "Dark Side of Light" and "Your Every Wish", and went home (at 11:30 pm!) feeling a knot at the pit of my stomach that you wouldn't believe!! Great authoress.

Schnoogle...Novel-length fanfiction - Seven sickles an ounce!

Schnoogle...Novel-length fanfiction - Seven sickles an ounce!

Not a clue what that "Seven sickles an ounce" means, but variations on it have appeared throughout HP fanfiction a couple of times, guess I'll have to look for the meaning.
Well, this is such a GREAT site that I'm ready to overlook the fact that searches are not so great. Contains HP lenghthy fanfiction, and is my favourite among the FictionAlley.com collectives.
By the way, can't belive it took me this long to actually post sth here, even had to ask for my username and a new password! And it's not like I haven't been around, *please*

Thursday 26 May 2005

Guess I need a first post for this to show. Nevermind, this will be a web-log, so I'll try and keep a record of my Internet wanderings (maybe this way I won't lose so mane addies, hehe)
